I shot Kara and Austin's wedding last spring and it was a pleasure to come back and do a shoot for them in their home now that they've added to the family! Daxton is 6 months old and a spitting image of his daddy. He made us work for his smiles (seriously we were all sweating by the end of it lol) but it was totally worth it!

In-home sessions hold a special place in my heart. I get to capture the items around your home that make it special to you. Daxton's nursery had a pillow made from Kara's grandpa's shirt and a book case from her grandparents. I also got to sneak in some of their awesome (if I do say so myself) wedding photos in the background. :)

Life changes quickly, and soon enough these moments will be a blur. Whenever I go through our photos from our daughter's first year of life, I still can't believe she was that small! I hope Kara and Austin will look back on these for years to come and remember all the chaos and all the joy that comes with having a baby.
